Description of stainless steel Dutch woven wire mesh
Most filtration applications using wire cloth are best done with Dutch weaving. Their warp and weft diameters are different in size and the wefts are close together to provide excellent strength and high density.
Unlike square weaving, the Dutch weave does not have a straight opening. As the fluid continues to travel along a tortuous path, weaving is very effective in releasing and capturing solids from the filter cake.
